Box-O-Noodles Reviewed

Thought I will do a review on ‘box o noodles’ something a little bit different than the posts I started with. To start with how I got to know about this place, it just popped up on my Instagram feed and I eagerly started following the account being an avid lover of ‘china doll’ noodle boxes which I miss so much 😞. 

Box o noodles which is situated in Nawala, thank god offers delivery which is so great for someone as lazy as me. Their delivery is handled by speedee.lk of which we have prior experience as most places and quickee does not deliver all the way to Thalawathugoda. 

On a sick day at home, thought il order from box o noodles, checked their profile for the menu and while many of the dishes seemed tempting I ordered ‘hidden dragon’ because it was chili chicken noodles with cashew nuts. When I called to order the person who took the order was very polite and texted me back after he checked with his delivery service for confirmation. In an hours time I received my food. Let me say I was like a kid waiting for candy, so eager to try this new noodles. 

The food was really good, it was spicy but not to too spicy which made the food enjoyable and I could taste all the flavors. The crunch of the cashew nuts added to the taste of the overall noodles. The flavors pleased my taste buds which were numb due to the flu. The only con is that the portions are a little bit small, which was enough to fill my tummy but not so sure it will fill up my husband’s. So it’s best if they can have two portion sizes.

But all in all, everyone needs to try the noodles at Box O Noodles. It was super good and no regrets. Happy eating y’all’
