Welcome back peeps!!! Today’s  review is on the Viana cosmetics 8 hour lip stain. Viana cosmetics is a local brand which is gaining much popularity among our local makeup addicts. Who doesn’t love a good lip stain right, specially one that lasts 8 hours not forgetting at a REASONABLE PRICE. So let’s see if it delivers on its promise. 

Viana cosmetics for me is a brand that I Would go for, specially if it needs to be light on the wallet. Apart from being reasonably priced, they have colors which match the Sri Lankan skin tone and for a Sri Lankan brand they have quite a large range of makeup products and other cosmetic items including accessories. These products can be found at makeup stores like Srina Palace, Glamours and other Department stores like Uptown Liberty and Cool planet to name a few. 

I bought my favorite two colors of Viana cosmetics 8 hour lip stain which is LS03 Mauve Magic and LS10 Ruby Red all for a price of, drum roll please!!!! Rs. 695. I know, I had the same look on my face when the sales lady quoted the price. So price wise it’s super. And they have a range of amazing colors, also super. 


Lets dive down to application. Application is a little bit difficult due to the dryness of the stick as with many lip stains. So I moisturize my lips before while I apply my facial moisturizer. It really helps with the application. The application of the Viana cosmetics 8 hours lip stain is actually a lot easier to man-oeuvre with its thin long design. 



So here’s the finally, does the Viana cosmetics 8 hour lip stain last 8 hours? Yes it did for me, 8 hours at work, through lunch and munchies here and there.  Above is an image of the lip color after 8 hours. Would I buy this product again, why not, definitely would. So guys try it out you have nothing to lose.

Leopard Killing in Kilinochchi

Since what’s currently happening in Sri Lanka is about the killing of a poor leopard, I decided to write my first blog post about my thoughts on this.  Let’s start with what happened, the leopard had come to the area where humans were residing, the residents had informed the wild life authorities and once they failed, the villagers battered the poor creature to death.  Did they attack the creature because the creature attacked them? Did they have to clobber this creature to death? Did they have to parade around the carcass of this animal? Why did the animal come to the village? These are just a few of the questions running in my mind.  Leopards are beautiful creatures that belong in the wild, they hunt to eat and survive.
